The artists Belenish Moreno-Gil and Óscar Escudero, authors of SUBNORMAL EUROPE, debate with the philosopher Luis Sáez Rueda (University of Granada), author of El ocaso del occidente, who in his book diagnoses the decline of the creative forces that underlie the western interpretation of the world and the modus operandi of its civilzation. Sáez Rueda maintains that “the only way to overcome the darkness of this decline is within and through itself”. The thinking of the philosopher from Granada finds itself at the centre of reflection on SUBNORMAL EUROPE and will help to throw light on this new production.

Los artistas Belenish Moreno-Gil y Óscar Escudero, autores de SUBNORMAL EUROPE, debaten con el filósofo Luis Sáez Rueda (Universidad de Granada) autor del libro El ocaso del occidente en el que diagnostica el ocaso de las potencias creativas que subyacen a la interpretación del mundo y del modus operandi de la civilización del occidente. Mantiene que “hay que atravesar desde dentro esta noche del ocaso”. El pensamiento del filósofo granadino se encuentra en el centro de las reflexiones en torno a SUBNORMAL EUROPE y ayuda a la ilustración e interpretación de esta nueva producción.
