Lenio Liatsou

Lenio Liatsou is a greek pianist who specializes in new music having performed countless premieres of new works. She has worked with composers such as Manos Tsangaris, Niels Roensholdt and Georges Aperghis. Her work and interests are particularly focused on the development of new forms of art which leads her to work not only with composers, but also with directors, actors and dancers. She has performed in concert halls and festivals, such as the Carnegie Hall, Purcell Room, Spor Festival (Aarhus), Athens Megaron Concert Hall, Onassis Cultural Centre (Athens) , Klang Festival (Copenhagen), Darmstadt International Summer Course for New Music, the ancient theatre of Epidaurus a.o. She is invited frequently as a jury member to piano competitions and she was a mentor to Munich Biennale’s international platform (Athens) 2018. Since 2017 she is teaching extended techniques in new music at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki.
