Andrea Simeon, born in Switzerland, studied stage and film design at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. After completing her studies, she worked as an assistant set designer and assistant costume designer at, among other institutions, Teatro Real Madrid; and the Zurich Opera House as assistant to Anna Viebrock. She works in close collaboration with director Blanka Rádóczy and performance artist Simon Mayer. With Simon Mayer she designed, among others, works such as “oh Magic” (2017, in Vienna and other cities, touring performances); and “Sons of Sissy” (2015, in Vienna and other cities, touring performances). She collaborated with Blanka Rádóczy on, among others, “Der Mieter” (“The Tenant”) (2018, Residenztheater München); and “Antigone Tribunal” (2019, JOiN, Staatsoper Stuttgart).
